As we bid farewell to 2024, we reflect on a year of growth, innovation, and collaboration at EnerSys. Connecting with many of you at industry events, committee meetings, and customer site visits has been a privilege, and these interactions have further fueled our commitment to driving positive change in our industry through education, promoting Natural Compliance, and enhancing operational effectiveness.
This year has been marked by significant achievements, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients and partners for their trust, collaboration, and continued support.
2024 POEMS® User Group Meeting
A highlight of the year was the 2024 POEMS® User Group Meeting, held in October. Building on the success of our inaugural event in 2023, we expanded the meeting to include demonstrations, interactive sessions, and gathered feedback from attendees. The feedback we received has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are already planning for the 2025 meeting, scheduled for November 2025. Mark your calendars to join us for another year of insights, collaboration, and innovation.
Company Updates
On December 31, 2023, EnerSys Corporation, PI Confluence, Inc. and Gas Certification Institute LLC all existed as subsidiaries of EnerACT Energy Services, Inc. At that time, EnerSys marketed and supported Control Room Management Suite, PI Confluence, Inc. marketed and supported Program Suite, and Gas Certification Institute marketed and supported Muddy Boots.
In January of 2024, the company made two significant organizational changes to simplify and streamline product marketing and support.
- PI Confluence was merged into EnerSys moving the marketing and support of Program Suite to EnerSys, and
- Muddy Boots sales and support were moved from Gas Certification Institute (GCI) to EnerSys.
Finally, to further simply operations, and focus resources on the POEMS offering, EnerACT Energy Services, Inc. sold GCI to Novarus Capital in September 2024. Ultimately, the intent of these changes is to enable EnerSys to maximize the value to customers of the entire POEMS offering.
During 2024, EnerSys has made a concerted effort to expand our capacity and capability through strategic additions to the EnerSys team.
Felecia Fitzgerald – Controller – joined March 2024
Felecia Fitzgerald, CPA, joined EnerSys in March of 2024 as the Controller. She has over two decades of experience as a Contract Controller, Accounting Manager, Consultant, and Senior Auditor, providing expertise in financial statement preparation, internal controls, variance analysis, and ERP systems implementation. Her client portfolio spans industries such as manufacturing, construction, energy, and professional sports. She holds an MBA in International Business from Our Lady of the Lake University and a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Rebecca Livoti – Regulatory Associate – joined February 2024
Rebecca Livoti joined EnerSys in February 2024 as a regulatory associate. Her prior experience includes serving as Compliance Coordinator at Turner Industries, where she contributed expertise in document management and SAP. Rebecca earned a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in 2012.
Lakesha Haskins – Software Testing & Support – joined January 2024
Lakesha Haskins holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and a PMI-ACP certification from the Project Management Institute. Her experience includes roles as Team Lead, Product Owner, and Quality Assurance Software Tester on Agile projects. She is committed to delivering high-quality, user-friendly software and staying proficient in evolving industry technologies, trends, and best practices. Lakesha is seeking a role that supports career growth and continuous learning opportunities. She is also actively involved in mentoring and community volunteering initiatives.
Monica Egan – Account Management – joined November 2024
Monica is joining the EnerSys team as Director of Account Management and brings along four years of experience from Dell Technologies. During her tenure at Dell she developed a strong expertise in translating technical software features into tangible business outcomes in a fast paced environment reaching up to 2.5 million dollars in sales over a quarter. Monica is a Houston native and graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Monica is passionate about delivering exceptional value and customer satisfaction and is looking forward to building long term client relationships with all of our EnerSys customers. Monica will be using her previous experience in event planning to coordinate our annual User Group Meeting in October and she can’t wait to host you all! Monica resides in Tomball, TX with her husband and three young boys.
Chris Viator – Muddy Boots Support – joined July 2024
Chris is an accomplished military and energy industry veteran with over a decade of experience in leadership, data analysis, and delivering actionable solutions. With ten years as a measurement analyst at CenterPoint Energy and Energy Transfer, Chris has deep expertise in gas measurement. Currently serving as the first U.S. hire for Muddy Boots field operations software, Chris is driving the expansion of this innovative solution into U.S. markets.
